tic background

The Insurance Centre was established in March, 2007 with the aim of providing a customized insurance service to property owners, building contractors and commercial clients.  The company was founded by Tony Lancaster, a long-time insurance practitioner in the Turks & Caicos Islands, who saw a need for insurance programs designed for clients’ needs rather than following the established procedure of providing a range of standard policies.

The result of this type of review allows the exclusion of areas of cover that are not required, with resultant premium saving, while other areas can be molded to suit specific requirements.

We offer insurance products from two established A.M.Best rated Insurance Companies, and we are able to place business with all the locally registered A.M.Best Insurers.  In addition, we place risks with Lloyds of London and other European and U.S. Insurance Carriers.

When you approach us for advice you can be confident that not only will you benefit from a customized, professional assessment of your needs, but you will also enjoy competitive terms from the best of the local insurance market - all this without going through the tedious routine of inviting multiple quotations.

As managing agents, we are authorized to settle small claims and should the worst happen, our Insurers have considerable experience in dealing with catastrophe losses.  We are fully aware that our reputation depends on a fast and efficient claims service.

Our clients include both local residents and overseas investors.  We structure our services to provide advice and consultation to clients who are domiciled in many different countries - in fact many of our insurances are arranged for international clients who have never visited our offices.
